Marching Kings

Welcome to the

Lewis Cass Marching Kings!

As the flagship instrumental ensemble at Lewis Cass High School, the Marching Kings are one of Indiana’s most elite marching ensembles. This group currently holds the Indiana record for most consecutive trips to the ISSMA State Marching Band Finals: 43 times. They have been named State Champion 11 times and State Runner-Up 12 Times.

The marching band is comprised of brass, woodwind, percussion and a color guard, all of which serves a very large purpose during a single show. During a performance, each band member goes through a series of movements written by the design team, which have them traveling across the field in different ways. It takes an incredible amount of teamwork to make these complicated drills happen seamlessly. Everyone is important and has a job to make the show a success.
